A brief visit to this excellent site produced quite a few birds, despite really strong winds: 300-400 White-winged Terns, among them 2 Whiskered Terns; 20+ Common Terns, 6 Garganeys, 3 Common Goldeneyes, 1 Common Shelduck, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Mallard, Ruddy Shelduck (including a pair with young), 6 Black-necked Grebes, Common Redshank, Common Sandpiper, Little Ringed Plover, Richard’s Pipit, Common Skylark, Northern Wheatear, Isabelline Wheatear, Citrine and White Wagtails.
