01 JUN 2007, Khovd - A. Braunlich
Again (how boring!) strong winds and a lot of dust whirling through town today. However, a little 30-minutes stroll in the afternoon produced a female Rufous-tailed Rock Thrush in a plantation (next breeding site c.3 km away), 1 Little Bunting (the only observation this spring so far), and 1 Fork-tailed Swift (species no. 204 for Khovd since late October 2005) migrating among Common Swifts.
