Sain baina uu?

I have been birding regularly in Mongolia for more than 16 years now. From July 2005 to October 2007 I lived permanently there; mainly in Khovd near the Altai Mountains in the west of the country.

Birding Mongolia was originally set up in early March 2007, informing about the fabulous birdlife (especially migration) at my local patch in Khovd. The blog soon grew, with contributions coming from more observers, and covering other parts of Mongolia.

Today Birding Mongolia covers any issue concerning wild birds in Mongolia: Conservation, migration, observations, identification, events etc. Contributions featuring other aspects of Mongolia’s natural heritage, as well as information on birds from regions bordering Mongolia are posted to the blog from time to time, too.

Contributions (observations, photos, news etc) are welcome! Contributor's names will be mentioned at the end of a posting and the copyright will stay with the author(s).
